Blossom Heath Inn
St. Clair Shores, United States
The Blossom Heath was built in 1911. During Prohibition, it was the east side nightspot gem on the waterfront, an infamous and popular speakeasy renowned in the area. The Blossom Heath is as elegant as her natural surroundings. It still contains 7 hidden stairwells for escaping Prohibition agent raids, secret compartments for eluding detection as well as trap doors for the fast off-loading of illegal liquor directly under the building from boats. Today, the period building and particularly the ballroom is still in use as a beautiful setting for special events.
