Overfelt House

Built by Mary and William Overfelt in 1875.It is built in a formal Italian renaissance architecture that was typical of the 1870's. Originally located on the corner of McKee road and Jackson avenue, the over felt house was declared a City landmark in 1985. William Overfelt helped establish the first free public school in east San Jose.
