This restaurant is an historical building, built in 1915 as part of the Japanese Exhibition at the Panama Pacific International Exposition held in San Francisco, then moved to Belmont after the exposition closed. Its one of the only 2 buildings preserved, the other being the Palace of Fine Arts, in San Francisco.
