1994 To commemorate 100 years of shipbuilding in this community, the employees of Yarrows Shipyard have built and donated this replica of the MV "Yarrows 1" We hope that the children who play here will remember the thousands of men and women who dedicated their lives to shipbuilding in Esquimalt.
