Patung Pancoran

Built circa 1964 and completed by the end of 1966, the Dirgantara Statue Monument, also known as Patung Pancoran (Pancoran Statue), symbolizes the spirit of the Indonesian people in exploring the aerospace. Designed by Edhi Sunarso, the approximately 11 tons weight and 27 meters height statue was placed at this location as a gateway to the formerly Indonesian Air Force Base, Jakarta Halim Perdanakusuma.
