Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse

A sparkplug style lighthouse at the end of a long jetty. It was opened in 1897 to guide mariners around the spring point ledge, an underwater formation that many ships had struck prior to the lighthouse's appearance. The jetty also serves as an excellent fishing spot for striped bass and mackerel.
