This sculpture is dedicated to the memory of John W. Chance, SR. A lifelong resident who served for many years as a volunteer firefighter, president of the Hance Corporation, a local manufacturing firm, member of Ottetbein's college "O" club and Uptown's Old Buzzard Club. He is best remembered for his quick wit and mastery of storytelling. Erected on 1996.
