Sukma IX Sabah 2002

SUKMA IX (6 Sept - 14 Sept, 2002) held in Sabah State. Great circle which encompasses the object in it symbolizes wholeness National Integration through sports. The blue line represents the shaped mountain Mount Kinabalu, Sabah landmark and the pride of the State. The highest mountain in the region that has always been a challenge to climbers both from within and outside the country. This line is also part of the upper limbs (arms and shoulders ) a full skill athletes . 'S' is the first letter of the word 'SUKMA' and the initials of the words Sabah. In addition, it also describes the body of an athlete that is full of energy and fighting spirit.
