Hale hall, a campus landmark from the early stages of Louisiana Tech University, dates tonight 1898, when the central portion of the building was erected. Additions beginning in 1902 gave the building its present appearance. First built as a dormitory for girls, the building became a men's dormitory by 1910. In 1970 the facility became classroom in studio space for art and architecture students. The building named in honor of Professor Willis B. Hale was reconstructed in 2004 to house the Office of Admissions and the School of Architecture.
