Colonel Willard Blackinton commissioned this home in 1850 for his two sons and their families. Built in the Greek revival style popular at the time and since listed by the Massachusetts Historical Commission and the National Register of Historic Places, the home was renovated in 2003 by Antony Canova and opened as the Colonel Blackinton Inn.
