Tatnuck Square Historic Bicycle Route

The name Tatnuck is derived from the Indian name for lands belonging to the Nipmuc Indians. Tradition has it that the Nipmuc held there meetings on a high rock called Tetasset near the top of Cascades Fall. The odds located on Cataract Street. The Tatnuck Square area also boasts two prominent recreational parks, Cascades/Boynton and Logan Field. Cascades/Boynton is ideal for hiking. Benjamin Newton donated the land was purchased by Worcester in 1928 and named for the four-term mayor James Logan.
