Community United Methodist Church

This church is unlike any in the community. They stock perishable ready to eat foods and create sack lunches everyday for the homeless, poor, and down on their luck individuals. Also they provide showers with single use soaps and shampoos. The community comes together and creates this. Now other churches will give foodstuffs that may expire or have already expired. This church does that too. The community makes sure that no stone is left unturned. There are times adversity is stacked against you no matter your past transgressions or mistakes if the person wants to be better this community tries to help by doing outreach to others in their community no matter what kind, shape, and color, shoe you may where. Sometimes going barefoot into the world is something required by all of us. It doesn't necessarily matter if you are blind or if you blindfolded yourself. There are times when a helping hand can help make sure you still see the horizon or at least the birds singing.
