Halton Region Stone Sign

Halton Region was incorporated in 1974 by the Province of Ontario. In the late 1960's, the Province saw the need to strengthen the County form of government by making services formerly managed by the Province of Ontario accountable and accessible to the residents and taxpayers. This stone sign is located outside the Halton Regional Centre.
