Saint Gilbert Chapel

Catholic church in Grayslake, IL, created during the 1930s. The church construction was completed during the great depression, reportedly by the 40 original family's members who worked on it 3 hours a day after their full-time jobs were finished for the day. It was originally planned as a church and convent but eventually added a school as well. All of which are still functioning.
