Chinese Funerary Burner - Ballarat Old Cemetery

Chinese funerary burners were used to burn spiritual tributes as part of funeral services. These tributes could be paper representations of such items as money, clothing, houses, etc., so that those items would be available in the afterlife. This burner is located in the historic Chinese section of Ballarat Old Cemetery.
