Lake Gerar Restoration Area

Atlantic white cedar exists today on the Delmarva Peninsula in small remnant stands in swamps, pond margins and freshwater wetlands. This restoration area has been created to simulate an Atlantic white cedar forest and will provide a variety of environmental enhancements including, but not limited to: Improved water quality Shoreline stabilization Increased diversity of landscape Provides habitat Aesthetic enhancement
