Niemietz Park

One of the three major parks maintained by City of Cibolo Parks and Recreation Department dedicated in 1977, City Park (now Niemietz Park) was a Land and Water Conservation Project that was sponsored by the City of Cibolo, Texas Park and Wildlife Department, the Bureau of Outdoor Recreation and the United States Department of the Interior. All of the oak trees in the park today were planted memory of Ernst H. Schlather at the suggestion of the Schlather family.
