Lyn Stacie Gets Park (AKA The Giraffe Park)

The Lyn Stacie Gets Creative Playground was made possible by a gift in loving memory of Lyn Stacie Getz by her parents Alan and Carollee Getz. Lyn, whose great grandparents settled in Bel Air in 1895 represented the fourth generation of the Gets family living in Harford Cpunty. Lyn was a graduate of Harford Day Svhool, John Carroll School, and New York University where she received her degree in dramatic literature. Following her graduation from NYU, she remained in New York where she worked in the entertainment industry until her death in 1999 at the age of 32. Lyn truly loved children and this playground is a fitting tribute to a wonderful and caring young woman.
