Cattedrale

Massa, Italia

The Saints Peter and Francis Cathedral is the most important Catholic church in Massa. The original church was erected in the second half of the XVth century, as the resting place of the Cybo Malaspina family, Marquis of Massa: it was consecrated in 1470. Deeply restored between 1660 and 1670 by the architects Bergamini (father and son), it became the Cathedral in 1821. Inside, Cybo Malaspina graves, paintings and a rather interesting organ.
