12 Mile Circle Stone Marker 1/2 Mile

Delaware's Northern Border with Pennsylvania is formed by a 12-mile Circle with the center point being the Courthouse in New Castle, DE. The first stone in this arc is the Arc Corner Stone Monument. Every half mile along the 12 mile Circle, there is a stone marker. This Stone is the first half mile marker for the circle. It has 1/2 carved in to the southern facing side of the stone.
