Old Macomb County Building

When the Macomb County Building was planned in the late 1920's, a military motif was adopted for the building's exterior decoration in honor of the presence of Selfridge Air National Guard base in the community. The figures on the building are of a soldier, sailor, Marine, air man, Revolutionary War soldier and a local American Indian.
