This amphitheater, having been built in 1934 by the WPA is hereby dedicated to the honor of Plimpton L. Graul. For his vision and forsight, for his dedication and service, and for his love of Greenville and it's people he will always be held in the highest regard. The amphitheater is therefore named the Plimpton L. Graul Amphitheater on this seventh day of October ninteen hundred and ninety.
