Douglas, Isle of Man
The Cenotaph on the Douglas Prom, like many, was erected to commemorate the lives lost during the bloodiest wars of the 20th Century, WW1 (The Great War) and WWII. The inscription reads "Douglas commemorates the loyalty and self sacrifice of those who fell in the Great Wars 1914-1918, 1939-1945"
