An officer's sworn to protect and serve, Answering each call with unwavering nerve, Never knowing when life will throw out a curve. A policeman's life was what I chose, To follow a noble, honorable code, And it cost me my life on this very road. As you stand upon this ground, be aware, Take a frief moment and say a small prayer, For my fellow officers still out there.
