Florence Roberts Forest

38 acre plot donated to Mason by Florence Roberts, a Philadelphia native who put herself through college despite her father's belief that higher education was not for women. She combined her horticulture degree from Penn State with her master's degree in library science from Drexel to help build the horticulture library at DuPont's Longwood Gardens.
