Sheppard Pratt Gatehouse
Towson, United States
Historic gatehouse at the Charles Street entrance to Sheppard Pratt Hospital. Built in 1860, it was designed by the Baltimore firm of Thomas and James Dixon. Built in the Tudor revival style, it provided for two living units, one on each side of the Archway. Into 2002, the entire Charles Street entrance was reconstructed, and cars no longer enter through the archway.
