"Oh Great Spirit"

The Northern Chumash Tribal Council honors this artwork of "Oh Great Spirit" representing our brothers, sisters and relatives from the Great Plains. Indigenous people have a unique relationship with Mother Earth. The spirit of life is a gift of Mother Earth, the connecting force between all living things. We share and honor this great gift from Mother Earth and father sky. We teach all of our relations to love the creation and honor the spirit of life for future generations. The spirit of Mother Earth is alive. Let's protect the spirit together.
