"There is Life Here"
Saginaw, United States
There is Life Here. In 1874, the daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul came to Saginaw to serve the sick, especially the lumberjacks, and in 1875 began serving the orphans at St. Vincent's Home. Today as Saint Mary's reaches toward a new millennium, the Daughters of Charity remain committed to the original mission of providing care to all those in need within the community. 125th Anniversary Sculpture by Frank Varga August 22, 1999.
