McCarthy pond known for hosting the annual Fair Haven fishing derby, open to all but focuses on children fishing, is stocked every year for the annual event held every May. It is home to fish, ducks, swans and turtles. This pond is a wonderful place to picnic or relax. In the winter when the pond is frozen, you can catch the local kids playing Ice hockey.
