This house once belonged to Katelyn Dunham. Katelyn was one of Mineral Point's first teachers and ran a school in the rear portion of her residence. The school lasted at this location for seven years until a dedicated school house was built not far from this location in 1867. This house is registered with the WI Historical Society and maintained by the Mineral Point History Preservation Society.
