This building is the former West Gate House of the enormous Ferguslie Mills Thread Works. Founded 1826 by James Coats, the complex itself was built between 1826 and 1858. The gatehouse was designed by Woodhouse and Morley, Bradford, architects in 1887 and is now a Category B listed building.
