This early innovation was used in the Homestake Gold mine in Lead, South Dakota. The air powered machine was used to pull the Gold bearing ore from blasting sites in underground mining operations. This piece of equipment was used throughout the 8000 foot deep mine in many areas, speeding the process of mining ten fold.
