Completed in 1928 to replace the original depot built by the Southern Missouri & Arkansas R.R. destroyed in the 1927 tornado. The St.Louis-Sanfrancisco Railroad built this Spanish -Colonial style building which served Poplar Bluff until the Hoxie branch was abandoned in 1965.
