Gothic Church at Kylemore Abbey

Built by Mitchell Henry as a memorial to his wife Magaret who died of dysentery on a trip to Egypt in 1874. He wanted to create a cathedral in miniature that would last through time. Originally Anglican following the arrival of the Benedictine nuns it was re-dedicated Catholic in 1920
