Jay Rowan Memorial (Cascade Swim Center)

Jay Rowan was a student at Redmond High school. He was an inspiration to everyone around him. Gifted in swimming, Jay was the star of the swim team and was loved by all who knew him. He tragically drown in the Deschutes river in 2002. Every year since his death a swimming meet named "the Jay Rowan Memorial Open" is held in his honor and remembrance.
