Wayne Smith and Mitzi Austin Deck

Mitzi and l wanted future students and faculty to have the same experiences. An enhanced Learning Center will make that possible and help the public understand the significant rules of forests in their lives. Wayne Smith, Prof and Director Emeritus, UF/IFAS School of Forest Resources and Conservation Wayne Smith served UF/IFAS for39 years, first as a faculty member and then Assistant Director of the School of Forest Resources and Conservation, helping establish major cooperative research programs. He then served 18 years as director of three interdisciplinary IFAs centers. In 1995, he returned the School as its director for eight years.
