Albany Purchase Keystone
Selinsgrove, United States
This stone, which was transported from Henry Shoemakers estate at McElhattan, was erected on the Albany purchase line in 1938. This line is about 1 mile north of this spot. To the stone was a plaque describing the Albany purchase of 1754. In 1939 the plaque was stolen. In 1966 the stone was brought here and this marker attached, by the Snyder county historical society.
