Gutierrez Xeriscape Park

This Xeriscape Park is dedicated on April 19, 1998, in honor of Henry Y. Gutierrez, Sr. and Rosie R. Gutierrez. Henry was the son of Francisco and Mercedes Gutierrez, who settled in the City of Schertz in 1946. The commitment of Henry Sr. and his wife, Rosie to the Schertz Community was evidenced by their generosity to the citizens, their innovation in the waste management business, and their concern for the conservation of our natural resources.
