Historic Atlantic View Hotel

This hotel was built in 1928 by Ellsworth Burruss, a local entreprenur , just east of Harris village. It was the first hotel in the village indicator to fishermen and hunters. Any one of the approximately 15 original rooms rented for a dollar fifty per day which included three meals. It may have been the first commercial building with electricity which was supplied by generator located in the shed beside the hotel.
