Bellevue Masonic Lodge 716
Nashville, United States
Commissioned in 1923, the current Bellevue Masonic Lodge building had been used for many years as a Christian Church upstairs and a granary downstairs. Mr. Herrin visited Mrs. DeMoss, who owned the building and she rented the upstairs to the masons. Her late husband, Col. DeMoss, had been a member of St. John Lodge No. 423. This building was built before the railroad was completed through Bellevue in 1855 and which made Bellevue the center of the district.
