Underhill Twin Tower Siren Monument

This siren will sound at 9:59 and 10:28 am on Sept. 11th of every year, in memory of the 343 fire fighters killed during the attack on Sept. 11th 2001 at the world trade center. New York City, NY. This siren was purchased in 1955 for 1,000 dollars and used until 1997. It was mounted above our 1952 fire station and used to alert fire fighters and the community of an emergency.
