Established in 1886, the design was suggested by Bishop Turner of Armidale and realised by the Blacker Bros. of Sydney. The gables are full Gothic pitch, the roof is Bangor slate. The shelter entrance hides two 10 foot tall Gothic diagonally boarded doors on ornate hinges. Heritage Walk #51.
