Bauxite Mine Tourist Info Sign Boulevard Rabac

Remains of the old Bauxite loading terminal build during the italian government. It was connected with a 9km long cable wire to Cere (a place in the Labin hinterland) where, between the two world wars the bauxite was most intensly exploited. After the 2nd worldwar the port ceased with activities and the cable wite was dismanteled.
