Gildehall

Gildehallen (the feast hall) is a re-construction of a viking time feast hall. Remains of such buildings have recently been discovered in this area using geo-radar and other modern archeological methods. The biggest problem when re-constructing such old buildings is that we do not know exactly how they looked. Therefore the limited archeological sources we have has been combined with details from the sagas.
