S1529 The trig points placed by the ordnance survey form a key part of the mapping grid of the company. Each trig point has a line of sight to at least 3 others, and accurate measurements made of relative bearings and elevations. Usually they will be found on top of hills, in places commanding good views, and this one is no exception.
