Go Won Go House

Caroline Mohawk (1835-1926) was the self proclaimed Go-Won-Go Princess. Go-Won-Go means "I fear no one" and Caroline lived up to the name. She is considered one of the first Native Americans to perform on stage, with performances in the plays "The Indian Mail" and "The Flaming Arrow". She also briefly performed with Buffalo Bill Cody and Wild Bill Hickok. In her early years she lived in this house until her father passed away.
