Clare Glens Trailhead

Trailhead 48 is the start of National Looped Walks 48a and 48b, which are short family friendly walks along both sides of the river Clare on the boundary of Cos Limerick and North Tipperary. Both walks start and end at the Clare Bridge and take you along a beautiful river gorge hidden in mixed woodland, where you can spot red squirrel, wren, chaffinch and so on. The longer walk (48b) turns around the spectacular Clare Falls, the shorter turns on a footbridge about half way through to the falls.
