Last Indian Attack on Weymouth

Near this site took place on April 19, 1676 the last Indian attack on Weymouth. This attack was the high water mark of King Philip's War, being the nearest point to Boston ever reached by King Philip's forces. Erected by the Society of Colonial Wars in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts on the 254th anniversary of the battle, 1930.
