MYSTIC
Taylor Opera House
Trenton, United States
Trenton’s first theater, built here in 1867, presented everyone from Mark Twain and Ethel Barrymore to George M. Cohan before its 1921 conversion to a movie and vaudeville palace as the Capital Theatre. Governors George B. McClellan (1877) and Woodrow Wilson (1910) were both nominated and inaugurated here.
