Runstaven

7.5 m tall sculpture in wood by Bengt Heinö, 1990 (restored 2013-2014, now back at Runstavsgatan/Halv­sekelsgatan.) The sculpture is fillef with Futhark runes, a language used in the Nordic countries in the 12 century (1100-talet). The sculpture mimics the rune staff predecessors to today's calendar.
